For instance, in addition to its biodiversity, the Amazon Rainforest helps to stabilise the global climate by absorbing sizable amounts of CO2 and releasing oxygen. Simillarly the Himalayan Mountain range is an important source of fresh water for many surrounding regions. The Great barrier reef is the most extensive coral reef on Earth, with a unique marine ecosystem. These are just some examples

Many religions advocate for the divine destiny. This is seen in for example, the Christian scriptures and Islamic belief in al-qadar. That is, God has a predetermined plan for each one of his creation.
